1:1 神既在古時藉著眾先知多次多方地曉諭列祖， In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
1:2 就在這末世藉著他兒子曉諭我們；又早已立他為承受萬有的，也曾藉著他創造諸世界。 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. 1:3 他是 神榮耀所發的光輝，是 神本體的真像，常用他權能的命令托住萬有。他洗淨了人的罪，就坐在高天至大者的右邊。 The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 1:4 他所承受的名，既比天使的名更尊貴，就遠超過天使。 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs. 1:5 所有的天使， 神從來對哪一個說，你是我的兒子，我今日生你？又指著哪一個說：我要作他的父，他要作我的子？ For to which of the angels did God ever say,<<You are my Son; today I have become your Father (\f1 1:5 Or|i have begotten you|d)>> (\f2 1:5 Psalm 2:7)?Or again,<<I will be his Father, and he will be my Son>>(\f3 1:5 2 Samuel 7:14; 1 Chron. 17:13)? 1:6 再者， 神使長子到世上來的時候〔或譯： 神再使長子到世上來的時候〕，就說： 神的使者都要拜他。 And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says,<<Let all God's angels worship him.>> (\f4 1:6 Deut. 32:43 (see Dead Sea Scrolls and Septuagint)) 1:7 論到使者，又說： 神以風為使者，以火焰為僕役； In speaking of the angels he says,<<He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire.>> (\f5 1:7 Psalm 104:4) 1:8 論到子卻說： 神啊，你的寶座是永永遠遠的；你的國權是正直的。 But about the Son he says,<<Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom. 1:9 你喜愛公義，恨惡罪惡；所以 神，就是你的 神，用喜樂油膏你，勝過膏你的同伴； You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.>> (\f6 1:9 Psalm 45:6,7) 1:10 又說：主啊，你起初立了地的根基；天也是你手所造的。 0 He also says,<<In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. 1:11 天地都要滅沒，你卻要長存。天地都要像衣服漸漸舊了； They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. 1:12 你要將天地捲起來，像一件外衣，天地就都改變了。惟有你永不改變；你的年數沒有窮盡。 You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.>> (\f7 1:12 Psalm 102:25-27) 1:13 所有的天使， 神從來對哪一個說：你坐在我的右邊，等我使你仇敵作你的腳凳？ To which of the angels did God ever say,<<Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet>>(\f8 1:13 Psalm 110:1)? 1:14 天使豈不都是服役的靈、奉差遣為那將要承受救恩的人效力嗎？ Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

荒漠甘泉五合一「用繩索把祭牲拴住，牽到壇角那裏。」詩篇一一八篇27節 讀者啊，祭壇不是在呼召我們嗎？我們不是要請求繩索把我們拴在祭壇上，使我們永遠不把我們的奉獻拿回來嗎？我們常常在生活充滿了玫瑰色光彩的時候，樂意選擇十字架；在天色灰暗的時候，就退縮了。所以如果能用繩索把我們拴住的話，多麼好呢！ 主啊，求你把我們拴住，拴在十字架上，讓我們永遠不會離開它。求你用救恩的紅繩、愛的金繩、望的銀繩，把我們拴住，叫我們不能逃回舊日的寬路去，也叫我們不去羨慕別的命運─只羨慕作主痛苦悲傷中卑賤的伴侶！ 讀者啊，壇角在呼召你了。你願不願意來呢？你願不願意永遠居在順從謙卑的靈中，把你自己完全奉獻給主呢？ ─選 在一次野外聚會裏，有一位弟兄，願意把自己奉獻給神。他每天晚上在祭壇旁邊奉獻自己；但是每天晚上在他離開聚會以前，魔鬼就來使他相信：他並沒有感覺甚麼分別，一定是神沒有接受他的奉獻。 一次一次他這樣被仇敵擊退，最後一天晚上，他來赴會的時候，帶了一把斧頭和一根長大的木樁來。他把自己奉獻了以後，就將木樁釘入他所跪的那塊地上。當他走出會場的時候，魔鬼又來引誘他相信這一切都不過是一幕戲劇而已。 他立刻回到木樁那裏，指著木樁說：「你看，魔鬼先生，你看見那根木樁嗎？那就是我的證人—─證明神已經永遠接受了我。」魔鬼立即離開了他，這位弟兄對於這個問題，以後再沒有甚麼疑惑了。 ─微小的聲音 親愛的，如果你也受了引誘疑惑你的奉獻的話，你也可以在一個地方釘下一根木樁，讓它在神前、魔鬼前，做一個證人說，你已經永遠解決了這個問題。 你是否在尋求幸福， 而無處可遇？ 只要聽取主的吩咐， 就會找到門路。 你是否在爭取得救， 而焦急祈求， 不必爭取， 只要信靠， 就會被神收留。 你的祈求懇切熱心， 卻遲遲不見回音， 把你的祈求變為讚美， 答應就會到臨。 你無從領會神的美滿， 除非你能放擔息肩， 把你的一切交託給神， 纔可領會完全。 ─心靈之歌
